Israel uses Facebook to spy on Arabs & Muslims

Israel's ambassador to Paris accuses the magazine of “making classified information available to the enemy”

For Facebook users updating their statuses or posting family pictures is for their select friends list but according to new report the information most people believe is private is actually being used by Israel to profile people and spy on them to obtain valuable information.
According to "reliable" sources quoted in France-based, Israël Magazine, Israeli intelligence focuses mainly on Arab and Muslim users and uses the information obtained through their Facebook pages to analyze their activities and understand how they think.

It is an intelligence network made up of Israeli psychologists who lure youths from the Arab world, especially from countries located within the range of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in addition to countries in Latin America
Gerard Niroux -- French professor
The extensive report allegedly ruffled some feathers in the Israeli government and diplomatic circles and Israel's ambassador to Paris accused the magazine of “making classified information available to the enemy.”
Israel's covert activity was uncovered in May 2001, Gerard Niroux, Professor of Psychology at France's Provence University said.

“It is an intelligence network made up of Israeli psychologists who lure youths from the Arab world, especially from countries located within the range of the Palestinian-Israeli conflict in addition to countries in Latin America," Niroux, who is the author of a book called The Dangers of the Internet, said.

Niroux said a huge number of men use the networking website to meet women and warned this was unsafe as it is the best way to lure men and find their weak points.

“It is very easy to spy on men using women,” he told the magazine.

This is not the first time Israel has been accused of using Facebook to spy on people and in April 2008 Jordanian paper al-Haqiqa al-Dawliya published an article entitled "The Hidden Enemy" making the same claims.

The paper said it was dangerous because people, especially the youth, often reveal intimate and personal details about themselves on Facebook and similar online communities, making them easy targets for people looking in.

Political Facebook

It is very easy to spy on men using women
Niroux
Facebook is no stranger to politics and is often used to organize protests or launch opposition campaigns, such as during the recent unrest in Iran, which Israël Magazine said gives Jewish intelligence valuable insight in to political activities taking place in enemy countries.

The paper added it is no longer necessary for occupation forces, like Israel and the United States, to use the traditional tools to control people or inciting sedition as it is now enough to use Facebook to promote certain ideas that infiltrate a certain social and political structure of any given country.

The fact that Israel uses Facebook to spy on Arabs is not just confined to media reports, but it is a general sentiment shared by people in the region.

People have been working as spies without realizing it, the report said, adding by just logging in to a chat room and talking about anything with someone he does not know is enough to do the job.

Any information revealed will be analyzed and used at a later stage.

Israel has a long history of espionage in the Middle East. During the 1956, 1967 and 1973 wars, Israel used to thoroughly examine the obituary pages in Arab newspapers, leading the Egyptian army to ban publishing obituaries of military personnel.

Analyzing the content of Egyptian papers also played a major role in planning for the 1967 war, according to Israeli media reports, adding the war actually started as Egyptian newspapers ran a story that several army officers of different ranks would be having breakfast together at 9:00 a.m. on June 5, 1967, the day Israel attacked Egypt.

The Dangers of Facebook for christians

In February 2004, Mark Zuckerberg and company began what would become a revolution in the way that we would live our lives. They launched a social networking site known as "Facebook," which now has over 750 million active users and counting. Facebook has become such an important part of many of our lives that we cannot imagine what life would ever look like without it. How else could we tell our friends about our day and inform them as to our whereabouts? Where would we put the photos from our latest outing or event? How would we know what our friends did today or how they are feeling? "Writing on someone's wall" used to refer to graffiti. Now it is a standard form of communication. "Friend" has now become a verb. We speak of "friending" people or them not "friending" us. Our world has radically been changed by Facebook.

This social revolution has had many benefits. It has enabled us to reconnect with old friends and maintain friendships when separated by distance. Facebook has allowed me the blessing of keeping up with my friends from high school, college, and seminary as well as those I have served alongside in various ministries the past few years. Now since I have moved away from my hometown and from many of my family and friends, I am beginning to realize how important Facebook can be in staying connected with them. Facebook makes it easy to share announcements or important events as well. In a few minutes you can let all of your Facebook friends know about an upcoming gathering at your house or outing at your church. And Facebook can be used greatly for God's glory. One can post encouraging notes and links pertaining to His Word (as I attempt to do). One can use Scriptures for status messages or share a thought that directs us to God. A lot of good can and has come out of this innovation.

However, a lot of harm can come from Facebook as well if we are not careful. It can be a great temptation that leads to sinful attitudes. Probably the biggest issue with Facebook is pride. The tendency with Facebook is to promote ourselves and not Christ. Often, we fall prey to this without even realizing it. It becomes so easy for a quick thought about the Lord to turn into "look how clever I am for coming up with this." We wait to see how many of our friends "like" what we wrote. Did we share it to be "liked" by our "friends" or to glorify God? Our friend count begins to be viewed not over how many people I can share the gospel with or encourage with Scripture but how many friends I can accumulate. The focus gets switched from the people themselves and redirected to the numbers. Or we take the opportunity to boast of something we are doing in our status instead of boasting of Christ and the cross. Our profile may even be filled with Scripture quotes and things about God but again is it for His sake alone or are we just using Him to exalt ourselves?
We are warned against the danger and harms of pride throughout Scripture. Solomon instructs us in Proverbs that Pride goes before destruction, / And a haughty spirit before stumbling (16:18). The Hebrew word for pride used here literally means exaltation. The root of the word communicates the idea of rise up. To be prideful is to exalt oneself. This word is used of God seven times in a positive sense. God should always be exalted and raised up. However, in its 27 references in relation to man, it is mostly negative. For man to exalt himself would be in essence for him to treat himself as God since only God deserves to be exalted. This type of pride served as the foil for Eve giving into the serpent's deception. He promised her that in the day you eat from it your eyes will be opened, and you will be like God, knowing good and evil (Genesis 3:5). Whenever we seek to draw attention to ourselves instead of God, we are trying to be like God, placing ourselves on a pedestal which only He should sit upon. The result of such pride is certainly negative. It leads to destruction and stumbling. Pride on Facebook proves no different. It also leads to ruin. We may fool our friends with our motives but we can never fool God. All the ways of a man are clean in his own sight, / But the LORD weighs the motives (Proverbs 16:2).

I think that the attitude we should have with our use of Facebook should be the same attitude Paul had with his ministry to the church at Corinth. For we do not preach ourselves but Christ Jesus as Lord, and ourselves as your bond-servants for Jesus' sake (2 Corinthians 4:5). Whatever we post on Facebook should be to proclaim Christ and not to promote ourselves. We should view ourselves as servants of our "friends" and be mindful of how what we post may glorify God and edify them. Perhaps the best question we should ask before we click "share" should be "is this for myself or Christ and others?" This might ensure that we do not wind up falling into the trap of pride and exalting ourselves.

Facebook: Our Friend or foe?

Children and teens’ overuse of social media is linked to lower grades, poor health and symptoms of potential mental health problems, new research shows.

Students who check Facebook or text during homework had worse grades, a study finds.

Children whose parents don't ask them about their online activities and don't monitor their use of Facebook are less healthy, more narcissistic, and perform worse at school than children whose parents restrict their technology use, Larry D. Rosen, PhD, professor of psychology at California State University, Dominguez Hills, said at APA's 2011 Annual Convention.
In his research on how Facebook and other technologies affect the health and well-being of today's youth, Rosen has found that students who use Facebook more throughout the day are more prone to mental health problems, have worse grades and tend to be sick more often than peers who use social media less frequently.

"Young kids look at technology the way I look at air," said Rosen. "It's not just a tool to them, they sleep with it, they wake up with it, and it's part of their world."
In one as-yet-unpublished study he conducted this year, Rosen observed the study habits of 279 middle-school, high school and university students in 15-minute blocks. Rosen recorded how long each student spent studying before he or she checked Facebook or paused to send a text message to a friend. Students who flipped back and forth between studying and such distractions had worse grades than those who stuck to their schoolwork until they were finished, said Rosen.
"Whether they checked Facebook just one time during a 15-minute observation period even predicted worse grades," said Rosen.

In another study, conducted in 2009, Rosen surveyed 1,000 parents about how much time their kids spent online, their eating habits, exercise routine, overall physical and mental health and use of other technology, such as video gaming systems. Rosen found that even when he accounted for demographics, eating habits and lack of exercise, media and technology still had a powerful effect on the children's health.
Those who used more hours of media were more unhealthy across the board, from elementary school age through high school, said Rosen. They reported more sick days, more stomach aches, more depression and worse behavior in school. "You name it, [they had] more of it," he said.
To see whether social media had a similar effect on mental health, Rosen conducted a follow-up study this year to look at whether frequent use, especially of Facebook, could predict signs and symptoms of personality disorders among young users. His preliminary findings show that frequent Facebook use among teens correlates only with narcissism, but for young adults, it correlates with signs of many disorders, including narcissism, antisocial personality disorder, bipolar disorder and borderline personality disorder.
Despite such evidence, Rosen—a fan of Facebook himself—said he believes that there are positive aspects to social media use among youth. In 2011, he and colleagues found that young adults who spend more time on Facebook than their peers are also better at showing "virtual empathy" to their online friends and that such online empathy predicts real-world empathy.
"There even appears, statistically, to be a causal link there, that they are practicing it to put the real-world empathy out there," said Rosen. "The more time they spend interacting, sharing and connecting online, the more real-world empathy they have."
Parenting style is what can make the difference between too much Facebook and just the right amount, added Rosen. In a 2008 study, he found that when parents use an authoritative style—establishing firm rules about online use, setting clear limits and talking about possible negative consequences in advance—their children tend to use the Internet in moderation and have more self-esteem and less depression than peers with parents who aren't as rules-oriented.
"We can't simply assume that we can trust what [our children] are doing," he said. "We also can't go the other way and attach software to their computers that monitors their keystrokes. Most kids could figure that out in five minutes."

Instead, parents should assess their child's activities on social networking sites, and discuss removing inappropriate content or connections to people who appear problematic. Parents also need to pay attention to the online trends and the latest technologies, websites and applications children are using, he said.
"You need to talk to your kids, or rather, listen to them," Rosen said. "Talk one minute and listen for five."

How To Hack Wifi Password And Use Unlimited Free Internet

How To Wifi Password Hack And Use Unlimited Free Internet

First you have to know what is Wi-Fi and how dose it work?
"Wi-Fi" is a type of wireless networking protocol that allows devices to communicate without cords or cables.

1: Wi-fi uses antennas around which wi-fi "hotspots" are created. The hotspots are outlets equipped to receive the radio waves that power wireless networking. Until recently, wi-fi has been confined to more than 10,000 hot-spots in cafes, bars and airport lounges. But various projects are under way to set up city-wide zones, where a series of antennas are installed in the streets, on lampposts or street signs. The hotspots around them together create a much wider area of coverage. Norwich has a mesh network which links each lamppost antenna to the next creating a seamless wi-fi hotspot around the center of the city.
2: The source internet connection is provided by a PC or server to which the antennas are connected either wirelessly or via a cable.
3: Some mobile phones and personal digital assistants (PDA) now have wi-fi chips installed. With mobile phones, this means conventional networks can be bypassed and inexpensive long-distance calls made over the web (using Voice over Internet Protocol, VoIP).
4: Many laptops and handheld computers now come with built-in wi-fi connectivity; it is also possible to add wi-fi to your computer with a special card that plugs into a port on your laptop.
Some organizations provide it for free but maximums provide it for business purpose only. And you have to give a password to access this kind of network.

Big Brother Brazil contestant allegedly raped live on TV

It’s been reported today that a contestant on Brazil’s version of Big Brother has been arrested and is being questioned by police for allegedly raping his fellow housemate, model Monique Amin.
The alleged incident took place after what the Daily Mirror describes as “a boozy party”, when Ms Amin apparently passed out, and was joined in her bed by Daniel Echaniz, who was reportedly then filmed apparently having sex with the unconscious woman.
The show’s bosses immediately removed Echaniz from the house, and the police were called, who are apparently now investigating the issue.
The show has gone off air as forensic teams examine the house, and in particular, Ms Amin’s bed.
The paper adds, “The next morning Ms Amin was asked about the incident in the diary room, and appeared to know little of what had happened.”

Big Brother’s Brazilian presenter, Pedro Bial, said of the scandal, “Since Sunday morning, the board had been evaluating the behaviour of Daniel, who is suspected of having infringed the rules of the programme.
“The images showed a breach of the rules of the programme. After careful evaluation, the director of the programme found that the behavior of the contestant on the night of the party was seriously inadequate.”
The show’s makers, Endemol, have so far refused to comment on the incident, but are thought to be doing “everything possible” to assist the police.
In other – and closer to home – news, former BB housemates Natasha Giggs and Imogen Thomas have once again embarked on a war of words via Twitter.

The two women of course both had affairs with footballer Ryan Giggs, and have been engaged in open hostilities for months.
However, the latest spat began when Imogent tweeted that Natasha had been “keeping it in the family” because of course, Ryan was/is her brother-in-law.
Imogen went on to say that Natasha was “sh*tting on your own doorstep” to which Natasha responded, “Sad.”
While she was in the CBB house, Natasha openly discussed her affair with Giggs, however, Imogen remains barred from talking about the details of her own relationship with him as to do so would breach the terms of an injunction against her.
Last week, Imogen tweeted, “Just watching cbb catch up. I love Natalie Cassidy and her task. Wag Nicola McLean is a fake. And as for the other one.”
So when Natasha left the house, she replied, “As for the other one what?
“Its just a simple question, just interested thats all :)
“Never commented or been a bitch or said anything about her, dont know the girl… SO i would like to know what she meant by it. That is all.”
Imogen then Tweeted, “Not enough fish in the sea. Keeping it in the family. Sh*tting on your own doorstep.”
Natasha hit back, “Haaa… R u for real?? Pot kettle black. Zzzzz.’’
Imogen replied, “Obviously NOT pot kettle black as didn’t keep it in the family.”
Meanwhile, it looks like Natasha is rekindling her relationship with husband Rhodri Giggs after he was spotted leaving her home early in the morning.
More on both of these stories as we get them.
